Today I found out that Thijs 'Maniac' Bruijns,
vocalist and bassplayer of Hammerhawk, died at the age of 50.
I have many good memories of Thijs and of his shows with Hammerhawk.
I organised quite a few of the shows they played, incl. the one where Thijs got married!
Tomorrow I will play some Hammerhawk songs in my radioshow.
R.I.P. Maniac, but do it loud!

Just had a great weekend. Kid Carpet and PUSA @ Lowlands Friday afternoon,
a loud and short set by Electric Eel Shock @ Paradiso mainstage Friday evening,
amazing shows by Fuck Buttons and Neurosis @ Pukkelpop, Saturday
and again a great show by Fuck Buttons and a killer show by Textures @ Lowlands, Sunday!

Canada was awesome, amazing, super, fantastic...well...best holiday I ever had.
Special thanks goes out to Blair, Bill and Angelina!
And we had the chance to check out some bands as well,

Five days after we got back, we recieved the keys to our new house,
so pretty busy now. The radioshow will continue every thursdayevening,
but for everything else, please be patient.
